CELIAC KIDS CONNECT IN PERSON MEETING – SATURDAY OCTOBER 21ST

Hello members,

Do you have a child living with celiac disease aged 5 – 11 years old who would love to meet other kids living with this disease? Have you heard of our Celiac Kids Connect Group established in 2021 (formerly known as Celiac Kids Rock Support Group)? Are you available to attend our FREE in person meeting on Saturday October 21st from 10.30am-12.00pm at our office in the Jerry Forbes Centre? This is our second in person meeting of 2023 and we are very excited!

Our theme for this event is “Games and Giggles Galore”. We will have games stations set up which will be monitored by our celiac teen volunteers! How fun is that? There’s more – our WONDERFUL friends at Poco Loco Cocina are providing us with a delicious gluten free treat for the children. One parent is welcome to stay and I will host a informal Q&A session with parents from 11.00-11.30am. I will have a guest with me – Rita is working with Dr Mager of the U of A on the release of the gluten free food guide for celiac youth and will share some exciting information. Spaces are limited!
